We put a large emphasis on the scientific aspects of tree work, for example when thinning a tree to allow more light through, we use pruning cuts that minimize wounds to the tree, thus reducing the amount of regrowth.

If you live in a conservation area, any tree work has to be authorized by the local planning dept. And if it has a tree preservation order on it, then special restrictions apply. Unauthorized works can be liable for £20,000 fine to the tree owner and/or the tree surgeon. We organize approval on your behalf at no extra cost.
